This website is owned and operated by San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity. We want to assure our visitors that the information you provide to us is secure and handled accordingly. We reserve the right to make updates or changes to the Privacy and Security Policy at any given time. We will post any changes to our Privacy and Security Policy on this page.
We provide donors with information regarding our Donor Privacy Policy to make them aware of the privacy policy, and to inform them of the way donor information is used. We also provide donors with the opportunity to remove their name from the organization’s mailing list, if they desire to do so.
The types of donor information that will be collected and maintained:
- Contact information: name, organization/church, complete address, phone number, email address;
- Payment information: credit card number and expiration date, and billing information;
- Information concerning how the donor heard about us;
- Information the donor wishes to share: questions, comments, suggestions; and
- Donor requests to receive or not receive periodic updates.
We use donor information to understand donor needs and provide the donor with better service. Donor information also helps us complete a transaction, communicate to the donor, and update the donor on affiliate happenings. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes. We use the comments donors offer to provide donors with information requested, and take seriously each recommendation.
We will not share, sell, rent, or lease donor personal information to other organizations. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of the organization and only to further the program activities and purposes of our chapter.
